terve! construction plans are now on final track. we just only have to give them a final check with local architect. we plan to have things cleared forthcoming week. thanks to honkatalot staff for putting much effort in making everything perfect.

last major discussion point regarding construction plans has been the static support for chimney. as the plusvilla will “fly” on the hill, we need an improved statics support for the heavy chimney. there’s also another feature jani designed: to hide “look-disturbing” foundation steel beams we will use some additional log panel at the bottom of walls to give the overall surface a smooth look.

official building permission is also on the way. so hopefully we can start soon. begin of construction of plusvilla is scheduled for 21st september.

finally we have also decided for our chimney. we will go with a tunnel model from SPARTHERM, similar to how it looks in brochures of plusvilla. the model is called “Arte X”. below you can see a picture

we’ve also decided for our kitchen. this will be done by a local kitchen manufacturer called BAX. the kitchen is planned to be white. here’s a picture of how the general model looks in the brochure.

terve, we received first drafts of construction plans by honkatalot people. our local architect is working together with folks in finnland to finalize statics. hope this will be soon. please note, that the step in front of doors to terrasse still will have to be removed.
