terve, last but not least the great OCTO lamps of SECTO DESIGN had been installed. i will write more about those and post some better pics later. please also note that guest toilet received some proceedings.

Day #240-243: Oiling Floor

terve. the weekend had been spent with oiling the wooden floor. i decided to go with natural floor oil from NATURAL FARBEN with uv-protector. this should slow down the colouring of the pine at least a bit.

Day #237: Gaps For Polygonal Schist Plates Finished

terve, today the gaps between the schist plates had been done. the pics had been done during evening, when i arrived at the site to clean the house from dirt to prepare oiling.

Day #236: Terrassi Ceiling

moi, installing the ceiling had been not that difficult as i first expected it. you need to know some tricks and screwing the first stainless steel screws still on floor makes life a lot easier.

Day #235: Finalizing Terrassi

today the weather forecast reported few rain and later sun. well… for some reason it went different. as it had also been quite windy working wasn’t that much fun. however, the terrassi had been closed again. please note also the insect protection which had been installed under the roof. you can also see the 45×45 mm battens which first had to be installed twice below the roof trussing first (of course with stainless steel screws).

Day #234: Finalizing Interior Work

believe it or not, but today major interior had been finished.

i did install the stones to the HARVIA KIVI sauna oven. installation had been pretty easy, as you can unscrew the upper part of the kivi within seconds. then stones can be carefully placed very easy.

we did a brief test of the oven and everything worked smoothly. i will later write more about how convenient the harvia remote control works.

also our friend “horst” came back. surely this pic is just illustrative, but it showed exactly how suddenly a black WWII bomber shot down to earth.
