These are the renderings number 122,124,125,126 and 127 of this projects. This is number 17 version of the new CityVilla we are developing. Comments are appreciated. I am not publishing the plans yet as the development still goes on and we do not have the agreements with the manufacturers yet.

This is the facade towards the back of the lot / garden. Note that there is a full size covered terrace on this side. It funtions as a sun protection and gives some privacy to living area behind the large windows.

Plan is designed to have 4 bedrooms, a TV / Library room and toilet / bathroom upstairs. Downstairs (Ground level) there are Living and dining rooms, kitchen and loundry/ storage room. Modifications and combinations are available. Total area of the house (Finnish kerrosala m2 which includes the area of exterior walls) will be from 150m2 to 200m2 with variation on 2-4 bedrooms.

Here is one of my favorite projects from the archives. The client was more happy with the other design and this one was “left over”.

This is the general view of the design. The idea was to form a series of three court yards - The entrance yard, atrium like semi private yard and finally an open yard that is formed by the villa, sauna building and lake.

yesterday evening i was thinking about how a plusvilla might look with not fassade painted in black but snow white. i’m wondering whether this would look cool for winter houses in lappland only as a kind of special finish? of course the classic black paint suits the house greatly… but some kind of limited edition special painted version only for “above polar circle” clients could be look cool. imagine the usually black houses look white. okay, steffi yesterday said “stop it now! you definitely painted too much today!”

Sometimes designing a house seems to require an endless amount of 3d studies. This project is one of the worst cases. Design is still under process. Tight lot, large space programme, strict requirements by client and designers difficulty to make compromises - that is the recipe for long design process… still going on after 6 months

Talon ensimmäiset luonnokset saattavat näyttää esimerkiksi tältä.

Jostain syystä keskustelu asiakkaan kanssa katkesi ennen kuin pääsimme sitä edes kunnolla aloittamaan. L- mallinen 2-kerroksinen moderni omakotitalo tästä varmasti olisi syntynyt, mutta ideat jäivät nyt kovin kesken.

Tässä projektissa tutkimme tilaelementtien hyödyntämistä kevyiden ja mahdollisesti siirettävien loma-asuntojen toteutuksessa. Tilaelementtien väliin suunniteltiin katettu terassi, joka jatkaa mukavasti olohuonetta kesäkäytössä. Terassin päällä on kattoterassi.

T:n mallinen pohjaratkaisu helpottaa rakennuksen sijoittamista erilaisille tonteille. maisemat, ilmansuunnat ja muut tekijät on helpompi ottaa huomioon kun rakennus avautuu tarvittaessa useampaankin suuntaan.

Mielestäni tämä Plushuvila malli on yksi parhaista. Valitettavasti tämä jäi projektiksi. Suunnitelmat odottavat toteuttajaansa.

Olohuone, ruokailutila, keittiösiipi ovat kuvassa vasemmalla ja makuuhuoneet oikealla. Väliin jää suojaisa atrium-piha. Tämä voisi olla loistava malli esimerkiksi tuuliselle ulkosaariston tontille?
